Open Chrome’s Extensions menu
Look for the puzzle-piece icon near the top-right corner of Chrome, beside the address bar.
Find MyDataPreserver
Look for MyDataPreserver in the list of extensions.
Click the pin beside its name
Its icon will stay in the toolbar. Click that icon whenever you want to open your collection guide.
Open this page through Toolbar setup in the installed MyDataPreserver extension to check pin status.
Ready to collect?
Click the MyDataPreserver toolbar icon, select the sources requested, and choose Start Guided Collection. If a collection is already started, choose Continue data preservation.
You can close this page when you’re ready. Pinning is optional; the guide also works from Chrome’s Extensions menu.
